This comes with a few simple nutritional rules:
- Hydrate in sufficient quantity,
- Provide the body with the “fuel” it needs through a regular supply of simple carbohydrates and vitamins,
- Compensate for losses in mineral salts and proteins.
Why the energy cake?
During a long-term effort (trail, half-marathon, marathon, bike, etc.) the energy reserves are very stressed to be able to go the distance. You have to anticipate this on the morning of the event. Your body needs:
- CARBOHYDRATES: to maximize energy reserves
- VITAMINS AND MINERALS: in particular vitamin B1 which contributes to a normal energy metabolism, Iron and Magnesium which contribute to reduce fatigue, Zinc which contributes to protect cells against oxidative stress.
Ingredients :
Preparation of flour (wheat flour, wheat gluten, broad bean flour, malted wheat flour, yeast, enzymes, antioxidant (ascorbic acid)), sugar, fructose, salted butter caramel powder (12%) (sugar, syrup glucose, sweetened condensed milk, salted butter, water), whole egg powder, natural caramel flavor, vegetable fat (sunflower oil, glucose syrup, milk protein, anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide), stabilizer (sodium phosphate) potassium)), skimmed milk powder, baking powders (sodium bicarbonate, di-sodium di-phosphate), flavor (milk), minerals (tri-magnesium dicitrate, zinc sulfate, sodium selenate), salt, vitamins (B3, B6, B1, B2). Contains wheat, milk and egg.
When to consume it?
Take 1/3 of an energy cake up to one hour before the start of the effort.
